Letter from the Director
Welcome to Kigali and ISK. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about us and our community. At ISK, we pride ourselves on the diversity of our school community with families representing more than 30 nationalities. We are a small, welcoming community of approximately 170 learners from kindergarten through grade 12.
Our programs utilize an inquiry based approach focused on communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking for our learners at all levels. Our learning spaces may be small, however, our days are filled with students and teachers collaborating in learning that stretches a learner's critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication skills.
The learning experiences at ISK also encompass a variety of beyond the classroom experiences with athletics, activities, and service opportunities. Although Covid-19 has required us to place many of our programs on hold, we believe we will be able to re-ignite our programs soon due to the phenomenal work of the government of Rwanda to keep Covid-19 contained for the safety of our community. I invite you to join me in experiencing, together, everything Kigali and ISK have to offer. As educators at ISK, we feel quite fortunate you have chosen to consider us to be a part of the development of your children, and we look forward to meeting you as a part of our community.
Again, thank you for visiting our site and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
